Hello opponents of the war on Iraq,
This is an update on the Wed.Feb.26 Protest of George
Bush Sr.
at Tufts. Plans have become more ambitious as we hear
from
many Boston area groups that will participate.
Wed. FEB.26
Massive Protest of lecture by former president
George H. W. Bush
Tufts University invited Former President George H. W.
Bush
to deliver the 2003 Issam M. Fares Lecture.
The lecture will take place on Wed. Feb. 26, 2003 at
4:30 p.m.
at the Gantcher Center.
Inviting Bush Sr. to lecture at a time when the US is
preparing
to go to war is an insult to all of our efforts to
prevent this
abominable war from happening. We ask your support,
help and
participation in a massive protest on Wed.Feb. 26 at
Tufts.
Protesters from the greater Boston area will be
gathering.

There will be three parts to the protest. All are
invited to join
at any of three points - rally, march, protest.
1:30 Rally in Davis Square (just outside T station)
A list of speakers and performers is being
assembled.
2:30 March to Tufts and the site of the Lecture -
Gantcher Center
3:30 Protest at Gantcher Center (College Ave., just
across the
bridge at College Ave. and Boston Ave.
intersection.

We will protest the policies of Bush Jr. while
Bush Sr.
lectures. There will be more speakers and
performers.
