Concerned about being penned in at 49th and First Ave
on May 15th? Consider joining one of the feeder
marches listed below. Or post an announcment of your
own in the comments section below. We will march -
permit or not.
Feeder Marches (Excerpted from the UFPJ website. This
is a list in formation)
Neighborhood groups, networks of folks concerned about
particular issues, and various constituencies are
organizing feeder marches, or planning to assemble
contingents at specific locations and then move
together to the assembly point on First Avenue north
of 49th Street.

Ride one of the three Long Island Rail Road (LIRR)
Peace Trains to the The World Says No to War Rally in
NYC!
Groups are organizing trains on the Babylon,
Ronkonkama and Port Jefferson lines. All of the Long
Island peace groups have been informed and are pooling
resources for this great event. Below is a list of the
three Peace Train departure and arrival times:
***Ronkonkoma Line: leaves Ronkonkoma at 9:43AM and
arrives at Penn Station at 11:04AM.
***Babylon Line: leaves Babylon at 9:43AM and arrives
at Penn Station at 10:58AM.
***Port Jefferson Line: leaves Port Jefferson at
8:39AM, leaves Stony Brook at 8:48AM, leaves
Huntington at 9:33AM and arrives at Penn Station at
10:37AM.
Hop on the Peace Train that stops at the station
closest to your home, or go to one of the stations
having a Pre-Peace Train convergence and do some
outreach before the main event!
A newly formed peace group, HUNTINGTON TOWNSPEOPLE
TOGETHER for PEACE, is organizing a stop for the PEACE
TRAIN at the Huntington LIRR Station on the Port
Jefferson Line (Stony Brook students are organizing
their stop on the same train and line.) We are asking
people to be at the Huntington Station by 9:15 am at
the latest, so we can get tickets, give out rally info
and coordinate our march.

GREEN PARTY FEEDER MARCH
9:30 AM---Starting march PROMPTLY at 10:30!
March route: From 35 E. First St. to 1st Avenue, up
1st Ave. to E. 40th St. Then turning left and
proceeding west on 40th St. to meet up with other
Green Party members and supporters at the southwest
corner of Bryant Park at W. 40th St. & 6th Ave. (aka
Avenue of the Americas) at 11:30 AM.
We invite Greens from all over the country and all
over the world to join us for the entire feeder march,
if possible.

**Feb 15 Performing Arts Contingent Feeder MARCH

Location Meet at Columbus Circle, 59th Street and
Broadway (Subway: A,B,C,D,1,9). Look for the orange
THAW signs
ATTN: NYC PERFORMING ARTS FOLKS OPPOSED TO THE WAR…
March with THAW, Bread and Puppet, and many other
performing arts groups and folks! Join the NYC
Performing Arts community united in opposition to the
war (all are welcome) February 15 for a lively,
theatrical march from Columbus Circle to the big rally
at First Avenue north of 49th Street!
We will be marching, peacefully, on the sidewalk, with
signs and other creative materials, which is legal, so
come one come all, and bring the kids.
HOW TO GET INVOLVED:
1. THAW (Theaters Against War) needs folks to carry
beautiful pre-made Thaw signs. Thaw would love it if
in the spirit of unity folks would wear a bit of
ORANGE, the Thaw color, an orange scarf, hat, coat,
shoes. (Or, if you like to paint your entire body
orange and march naked, let us know.) Thaw has been
organizing and working against the war for months.

2. BREAD AND PUPPET needs as many volunteer performers
as are available. Yes, that’s right, this is your
chance to work with one the most renowned agit-prop
theater troupes in the world. Bread and Puppet needs
people to operate puppets large and
small, wear masks, play musical instruments, and so
on.
3. DIY (do it yourself)! Make something up. Recruit
your friends. Use your imagination. Make it
theatrical. Make it beautiful. Make it weird. Make it
a parade. The arts are about creation and play. War is
about destruction and control. So let’s be seriously
playful, and playfully serious, and let’s inspire what
audiences we encounter along our merry way.
4. OTHER PERFORMING ARTS GROUPS are formulating plans
and will want performers/participants.

** Feb 15 Peace Bike Contingent Feeder RIDE

Peace Ride / Bike Block
In solidarity with the massive anti-war demonstration
that is being held in New York City & dozens of cities
all around the world on Feb 15th. A bike ride for
peace and to say no to the war for oil.
Come be part of this historic event, on bikes. Say to
the city and to the world we want peace and renewable
sources of energy not a war for oil.
Please note this event is not sponsored by the
environmental group Time's Up but we highly recommend.
Just like in Critical Mass, feel the vibe and use your
own discretion.
** An Anarchist Red & Black Contingent is being called
for by the Workers
Solidarity Alliance (W.S.A.), NY-NJ collectives of the
North East Federation
Anarcho-Communists (NEFAC), the New York Branch of the

Staten Islanders will gather at 10:30 at the Staten
Island Ferry to board the 11:00 am board to Manhattan

illustrating Israel’s oppression of Palestinians
12:30 pm: JOIN the MAIN MARCH at the UNITED NATIONS -
We will march as a contingent—with Arabic music and
chants for a free Palestine—to the final rally point.

Vanderbilt Hall: go upstairs to the big hall with the
information kiosk with a clock on top. Look to the
(south) wall with the ticket booths and schedule
board. There is an opening in the middle. Go through
that and you will be in Vanderbilt Hall.

Anyone coming in to Grand Central Terminal is invited
to assemble in Vanderbilt Hall.
