Boston Campus Antiwar Coalition urges ALL WHO OPPOSE WAR IN IRAQ to make their opposition public by their presence in downtown Boston, Tuesday afternoon, December 10.
On Dec. 10, International Human Rights Day, anti-war groups of all kinds will converge to stand in opposition to war in Iraq. The schedule is as follows:
3:00 PM BCAWC reps will meet with Senator Kerry to ask that he work to end sanctions on Iraq and repeal last year's USA PATRIOT act.
4:00 PM PUBLIC ANTIWAR RALLY IN GOVERNMENT CENTER. All are invited! BCAWC members will report on the meeting with Kerry and individual campus actions from earlier in the day.
4:30 PM MARCH TO COPLEY SQUARE to join many more regional peace groups for a massive public vigil. Bring a flashlight to serve as an all-weather "candle."
BRING THESE THINGS TO THE DEMONSTRATION:

DO NOT LET YOUR OPPOSITION BE INVISIBLE -- JOIN US DEC 10!!!
BCAWC is a loose coalition of student groups from Boston area campuses. We are diverse in our approaches and in our politics, but we stand united on the following:
-- NO WAR IN IRAQ
-- END THE SANCTIONS. Economic sanctions lead directly to premature death for more than 40,000 Iraqi children EVERY YEAR.
-- STOP THE MOBILIZATION, STOP THE RESERVE CALL-UPS. Peace cannot be achieved by threatening war, much less by making it...
-- USE THAT $200 BILLION WHERE IT'S REALLY NEEDED: HERE AT HOME. Our domestic social, and indeed physical infrastructures are crumbling as we speak. Is escalating the "War on Terrorism" to Iraq, a country with no proven connection to terrorism, really worth the price?
