Thanks to all of your efforts in letter writing, phone
calling and picketing, Amer Jubran has been released
from detention!!! Many of us got to give him big welcome
back hugs last night and he was very humbled and appreciative
of all the support he has recieved.
They are still trying to deport him, so much remains to be
done on his case as well as protesting the overall pattern
of targeting people who are from countries the US Govt is
not 100% happy with (such as a recent INS sweep of 30 Brazilians
on Cape Cod, shortly after the Lula presidential victory...
what a tremendous coincidence!)

And remember that if we keep standing up for our rights and for
the rights of each other, then fascism will have no choice but to
recede. It is completely within our reach. So, don't lose hope,
