Lecture: Health and Impacts of War
Health Community Against the War is holding an educational event on
the health and economic impacts of an escalated war on Iraq.
Wednesday, October 23, 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Speakers Include:
Dr. Irene Gendzier, professor of Political Science at Boston
University specializing in Middle East affairs.
Nancy Murray, director of the American Civil Liberties Union of
Massachusetts' Bill of Rights Education Project since its founding in
1987.
Dr. Howard Zinn, historian, author, playwright and Professor Emeritus
of Political Science at Boston University.
Charles "Chuck" Turner, representative for Roxbury and parts of the
South End, Fenway, and Dorchester on the Boston City Council since
1999.
Meizhu Lui, director of United for a Fair Economy and former
organizing director of Health Care for All.
Nerissa Wu, doctoral student at the Boston University School of
Public Health, Department of Environmental Health.
Brian Corr, executive committee member of the national Peace Action
board and of the American Friends Service Committee in New England.
Sachin Anand, freshman studying International Relations at Boston
University.
Dr. Joseph Gerson, director of regional programs for the American
Friends Service Committee's New England Regional Office.
