MIT Arab Students Organization invites you to:

"Experience and Identity: Palestinian Youth in Israel"
Ghadir Shafie and Bilal Dirbas
Saturday, October 19, 2002 12 Noon
Room 35-225

A discussion by two young Palestinian professionals reflecting on their
experiences growing up and living as Palestinian in Israel.

The two speakers are members of Baladna, an Arab youth organization founded
by Palestinians living in Israel (http://www.baladna.4t.com/index.html).
Ghadir Shafie graduated in 1996 from Haifa University, currently teaches at
the Arab School of Akka, and is involved in other educational initiatives.
Bilal Dirbas has an LLB from the University of East London, has experience
with the British Council and Haifa Radio, and is a board member of the
Baladna Association.

How to get there:
You can take bus #1 and get off at 77 Mass Ave in Cambridge (the MIT stop). Enter 77 Mass Ave and turn left. You will be walking into building 9. Keep walking in a straight line nd wyou will pass building 33 and then building 35. Look for room 35-225. You can also ask people if you get lost.

You can take the red line to Kendall Square. You need to ask people how to get to the infinite corridor. Once there you should walk all the way to the other end of the infinite corridor (the end closer to Mass Ave), then you turn right into building 9 and continue as above.
