WHAT: city-wide student rally to hold our universities acoountable in the
janitors' campaign as in supporting their demands
WHERE: meet at boyleston T-stop
WHEN: 5 PM! TODAY!!!
WHY: the janitors are on strike and they need justice in the form of a good
contract from all the cleaning contractors. six contractors have signed but
the large ones especially UNICCO have been unresponsive.
MIT is the largest commercial property owner in cambridge where many of these
buildings are cleaned by UNICCO. the Tech Squares buildings have very recently
gone on strike.
we also definitely need people to hold the very large MIT 4 Justice 4 Janitors
banner at the rally! ;)
please please please come!!!
