May Day Rally!
Legalize Undocumented Workers.
Legalize Human Rights!
Wednesday, May 1st, 2002
3:30-5:30 p.m.
Boston Common Bandstand
The U.S. is a country built by immigrants. Today immigrants continue to
be an integral part of the U.S. economy-paying taxes and making up a
large part of the labor force. Immigrant contributions extend beyond the
economy, enriching the culture and ideas that shape our nation.
Current immigration laws violate the basic human rights of immigrants.
Legalizing undocumented immigrants will provide them with an opportunity
to obtain permanent residency status, thereby reunifying families and
providing equal access to health care, housing, education and workers
rights.
The Massachusetts Legalization Coalition invites you to join the cause
by attending this important May Day Rally.
