I've noticed the postings about internships at Physicians for Human
Rights, an excellent organization, and wanted to bring the following
MIT event to your attention:
Tuesday, April 23, 7pm in 3-270
Professor Phoebe Schnitzer (teaching "Psychology of Gender") has
invited Dr. Lynn Amowitz, to come and speak about her experiences
interviewing women in Afghanistan through her work with Physicians
for Human Rights. She is a Health and Human Rights Fellow at the
Brigham and has spoken widely - you might have heard her on NPR.
