hi all,
hendrik verfaille, the president and ceo of monsanto, a gigantic
multinational agribusiness corporation, is speaking in a small class of
mine on april 10th.
is anyone interested in putting together a small teach-in on specifically
monsanto or generally the effects of corporate-driven, global agribusiness
policy on local cultures, economies, health, ecology, and/or farmers? i
don't know enough about the details of this stuff and would like to. i
also think it would be great if people were interested in doing an action
of some sort when he comes.
please let me know if you're interested or have more info about these
issues or know who to talk to about this stuff. also, please forward this
to the bgan list if you're on it and think it's appropriate.
