* IMPORTANAT NOTICE *

Dear Peace2 Subscribers,

As you may remember, the Peace2 discussion list was originally started
during the US bombing of Serbia, and was intended to discuss all issues
related to peace, including the bombing. However, since the Kosovo
"resolution" came, the traffic on the list has become minimal. This is
about to change, as the list is being expanded.

The Social Justice Cooperative had a successful start yesterday with its
first session in the IAP Social Justice Discussion Series (see online
IAP guide under Special Events), with speakers from local activist groups
and Japan talking about US Military bases in Japan and their effect on
the populace. Peace2 is expected to incoporate new members, and is
expected to see increased traffic with local announcements of peace
events as well as discussion on a variety of issues.

I hope you will stay on the list and use it as a resource and connection
to social movements in the Boston area. If you wish to withdraw from the
list, however, please do NOT email the list, but send me <auyeung@mit.edu>
an email instead, and I will remove you promptly. Thank you very much
for your attention! I hope you will help the Social Justice Cooperative
lay a solid foundation at MIT.

Sincerely,
Felix AuYeung
