Col. Qaddafies' courts have announced on Saturday 16 February 2002
that two possible prisoners of conscience, Abdullah Ahmed Izzedin and
Salem Abu Hanak are to be executed. These two are among a hundred
libyan intellectuals, professionals and professors who have received
sentences ranging from 10 years' to life imprisonment after an unfair
trial. The sentenced are being punished soley for advocating their
non-violent beliefs in democracy and social justice.
Please Sign an online petition to stop Qaddafi from executing
these people.
