WHAT: MIT Social Justice Cooperative
First meeting of the semester
WHEN: 6 PM Wednesday (tomorrow) February 20.
WHERE: 5-134 (from 77 Mass Ave, turn right in Lobby 7, past the ships
to the left)
Bring your friends, families, pets, and cookies: all are welcome!
We will discuss upcoming projects and events, and plans for the
semester (and beyond!).
Topics will include Friday movie suggestions, the student visa issue,
possible speakers for the semester, the SJC IAP class, local political
campaigns (electoral and otherwise) and so on. You are as usual
encouraged to bring your own topics for discussion! The idea behind
the SJC is to work together on many issues and projects, and there is
room for everyone and need for everyone in these times.
If this meeting time/day is bad for anyone, please let me
know (we are trying to make this a weekly meeting time).
