I found out by flaming them, and then felt kind of silly when Chris (who I know, but didn't know was involved) wrote back to explain it. I still didn't get if the parody extends beyond the Website, to an actual robot mission in Afghanistan... but I did point out that if it does, they're in for worse irony-translation problems than they had with me!
