BGAN educates and mobilizes people for social justice, the environment, cultural survival, labor and human rights in the face of neoliberalism, militarism, and corporate-driven globalization.

We are a diverse, non-partisan network of over 20 local, national, and global grassroots organizations. We do not follow a single ideological position or practical approach, but rather aim to support one another in a spirit of solidarity, mutual aid, and celebration.

Various task forces meet during the week to continue their work, while BGAN's coordinating committee holds monthly open meetings where member groups set its course and consider new campaigns. Various electronic mailing lists keep members in constant communication with each other.
