what is the world economic forum?
why should we mobilize against it?
how is it related to the World Bank/IMF/WTO?
how do we plan to protest it?
The BU Student Labor Alliance, Radical Student Alliance, and
NU Progressive Student Alliance invite you to a teach-in on
the World Economic Forum this Thursday, Jan. 24 at 7 PM at
BU's Photonic Center (directions below). The WEF is a meeting
of CEO's, billionaires, and politicians that is being held
this year in New York City from 1/31 and 2/4. The teach-in
will also feature members of the NYC-based Anti-Capitalist
Convergence as part of their Northeast roadshow against the WEF.
WHAT: A teach-in on the WEF
WHEN: Thurs, Jan. 24, 7 pm
WHERE: Boston University, Photonics Center
HOW: BU Central stop on the Green Line B
Cross Commonwealth Ave., walk up to St. Mary's St.
The Photonics Center is on the left (8 St. Mary's)
WHY: Because Bill Gates needs more money
