Hi there,
An alternative I've been using for a while is the Tampax Naturals.. all 
cotton + unbleached.  I read about the nightmarish asbestos deal some time 
back, but it's amazing how unknown it is..
Actually, Naturals are hardly on most shelves.  But they have it & cost the 
same as others T-boxes, so bug Tampax.  I did and they sent me a box of 
Satin-brand.  ..ah..
