Just wanted to encourage everyone to perform their patriotic duties, or delight in their civic joys, and VOTE!
I also remind you that the local Green Party had endorsed STEVE ISKOVITZ for city council in Cambridge. Steve has been active for a while in the
Greens and is running as a Green. If you support the Green Party, and want to the send a message to Washington that that you support a true
alternative to the two mainstream parties, vote Steve for #1!
#1? Cambridge lets you rank as many candidates as you want, as if your first choice doesn't have enough votes, they get transferred to your second
choice, etc.
In Somerville, the Greens have endorsed DENISE PROVOST and HELEN CORRIGAN. Although they are not running as Greens, we consider them progressive
enough to deserve support.
***WHEN/WHERE: The polls are open 7am to 8pm in Cambridge, 8am to 8pm in Somerville. If you don't know where your polling location is, you can find
out online at http://www.secstate.isaka.net/magov/search_form.php. Or call the Cambridge elections office efore 5pm at 617-349-4361, or the
Somerville elections office at 617-625-6600 before 4:30pm. Some more info is also at http://www.ci.cambridge.ma.us/~Election/where.html.
Many MIT students who live on Amherst vote in Kresge, but not all! Also, Edgerton reisdents vote in the firehouse on mass ave near cinderella's.
*Note that the Cherry St. Anarcho-Green collective has not received official sanctioning in their endorsement actions, and are a RENEGADE CELL of The
Party, and will be swiftly exterminated :)
