Here's some basic information:

What the American Government Doesn't Want You to Know

This year we're looking to make it a 9 unit research project-oriented
class. Students will investigate recently declassified material in an
attempt to unearth new information regarding events in recent American
history, some of which may be in conflict with accepted fact. Lecturers
will present background on four or five periods in recent history and
guide student groups through their investigation. Results will be written
up as papers and presented in class towards the end of the term.

The course outline is certainly not set in stone as of yet. We're still
deciding on lecturers (Chomsky is the only one who's been decided so far)
and periods of investigation (current candidates include Cuba in the 60's,
Afghanistan in the late 70's, COINTELPRO, Middle East in the late 60's,
and the American labor movement). We have access to "reams" of recently
declassified material on these areas and are searching for more. Any and
all help or suggestions would be appreciated.
