Sorry in advance for the reply-all just trying to toss out an idea.
This presentation by Howard Zinn is one of the most powerful things I've
seen on the peace side.
I'm all for peace rallies, and candle light vigils, but If we are going to
get the message of peace out to America it has to be done the way they
think... in sound bites and headlines. We should be raising money and
soliciting support to put these kinds of presentations on national
television. It may not be popular right away, but the only way to compete
with the pro-war commercialization happening in the press and from
politicians is by utilizing the media in the same way they do. Let's feed
the nation horrifying pictures with haunting music and the quotes of people
who have spent their lives promoting peace.
