FYI-ADL meeting tomorrow inviting all concerned to
join. Do we have a name and yahoogroups list yet for
this email list? I could make the yahoogroups list but
was wondering what to call us. Also, let me know if
you are interested in this meeting and will be
attending--I may go too. Attached is a joint
statement that we must sign and agree to ahead of
coming to the meeting.

The ADL is coordinating a response to discrimination
as a result of the
issues arising from Sept. 11th. There is a meeting
tomorrow. If you want to
attend you must sign on ahead of time. Here is the
information, as well as

STAND IN SUPPORT AND SOLIDARITY FOR ALL AMERICANS
MEETING OF CIVIL RIGHTS AND COMMUNITY ORGANIZATIONS
Tues. Sept. 25 10:00 a.m. at 126 High Street Boston
In the wake of our national tragedy, all of us
continue to mourn the tragic
losses of September 11. As we express our national
pride, all Americans
must know that discrimination and scape-goating are
not patriotic. Our
government and religious leaders have demonstrated
their united condemnation
of acts of prejudice and discrimination. By attending
Tuesday's meeting of
civil rights and community organizations, and signing
on to the joint
statement attached, you can join in a clear message of
support and
solidarity. At the meeting we will also finalize a
resource list for
victims and targets of discrimination, and get an
update from law
enforcement and some of the affected communities.
