Attempting to add
STRING:pst@mit.edu
to a moira list yields:
Warning: "STRING:pst@mit.edu" converted to "pst" because it is
a local name.
Unfortunately,
"pst"
is the same as
"USER:pst"
which defeats the point of requesting a STRING. It would be better
to convert "STRING:pst@mit.edu" to just:
"STRING:pst"
Thanks.
In case you're curious, the point here is to add users to a mailing
list, but not to an acl, when the moira list happens to control both.
I only tested this with blanche, but I'm pretty sure it occurs in most
of the rest of the clients.

ps: Some places the client (blanche, at least) prints "WARNING:"
and others use "Warning:".
pps: mrtest doesn't have these problems :-)
