What were you trying to do?
figure out why SSA.MIT.EDU wasn't taking updates to the
MIT.EDU aliases file.
What's wrong:
Moira didn't really show an error but mrcheck indicated
that the service hadn't been updated. We eventually found
that the update_server process on SSA wasn't running.
What should have happened:
Moira should probably indicated an error has occurred in
the update when it has it's connection refused due to a
non-existent update_server.
