   Moira used to die that way when I used to try and use it from the other end
   of a slip connection. With blue-box, we may have to fix this if it is
   indeed related.

It may be, although the last time I looked I didn't see any connection
attempts from Bluebox before it died.  Moira may not have a chance to
spit out the messages, though.  

However, I have used the Linux Moira client from home using PPP quite
often, and I've never managed to crash the server.
