   I just had a conversation w/ Tom. He's basically going to follow
   the procedure we have for making server changes:
	   - put the source and binaries in opssrc
	   - install the new binaries on the server, leaving
	     the old binaries around in case there's a problem
	   - send mail to the list detailing the change

   If there's anything I've forgotten give a yell.

Warning.... before you do this, talk to Diane.  I believe she has
changes in the tree that she's in the midst of testing.  She merged the
changes into the moira tree in anticipation that the testing wouldn't take
that long, but it's taken longer than expected.  

These changes are the ones that to avoid the database deadlock problems
that we had at the end of last term.....
