Would if be a good idea if the name of the Ingres (or other) database were
configurable rather than hard-coded in? I'm faced with wanting to build a
new version of Moira where some things are changed around in the data base.
So the new Moira won't work with the existing data base, and the existing
Moira won't work with the new data base, and I don't want to risk having
the whole production operation go down. So does it make sense to make a
new data base with a different name, build the new Moira to run with it,
test the new one, then run some kind of program that would copy data from
old to new?
