What were you trying to do?
Use blanche to replace the contents of a list with the contents
of a file.
What's wrong:
One of the strings in the old list that was not in the new list was
STRING:otto::$dub4:[andre] Blanche did not remove this (and another string
just like this one) from the list and gave the following error messages:
blanche: Unknown string while deleting member otto::$dub4:[andre] from bdc-list
blanche: Unknown string while deleting member otto::$dub4:[helene] from bdc-list
for the 2 strings it could not remove. All other changes seem to have been
completed successfully. I had to go into listmaint to remove these two strings
(which I did with no problems).
What should have happened:
Blanche should have accepted these two strings for deletion, even
though they are not valid mailing addresses.
