Moira AFS update

daemon@ATHENA.MIT.EDU (Garry Zacheiss)
Tue Sep 24 18:25:34 2002

Message-Id: <200209242225.SAA27777@brad-majors.mit.edu>
To: moiradev@MIT.EDU
Date: Tue, 24 Sep 2002 18:25:27 -0400
From: Garry Zacheiss <zacheiss@MIT.EDU>

	I decided the easiest way to get around the problem with
afs.incr from yesterday is to link everything against OpenAFS libraries;
this patch deals with that. It replaces afssync/ptutils.c (which was
basically an unmodified copy of the AFS source file of the same name)
with an essentially unmodified copy of the OpenAFS source file of the
same name. As a side effect, the newer AFS libraries don't need any of
the /usr/ucblib stuff on Solaris, so we remove $AFS_EXTRA_LIBS and all
of the configure goo for dealing with it.

        With these patches applied, the moira tree builds on both 9.1
and on 9.0 with the /usr/afsws link pointed at OpenAFS libraries.

        Not shown in the patch is the regeneration of configure.

Garry
