I think this looks ok, but it doesn't fix all the problems with
encrypted file transmission. It looks like even with this patch, you
still get a trailing 8 bit character at the end of the transmitted file.
If you feel motivated to completely debug encrypted file
transfers, that would be great. I've never considered it a very high
priority.
