Hi,
It appears we can actually manually create the homedir. Sorry for the
erroneous information.

Hi,
The "Register a user" feature in the moira user menu no longer seems
to work:
Command: 7
Register a user
This function has NO kerberos support, so strange things
may happen if you use it to register a user.
Do you know the users UID Number (y/n) [n]: y
What is the UID number of the user? 23006
Login name for this user? [u23006]: leannes
Is this a student filsystem [n]:
Is this a faculty filsystem [n]:
Is this a staff filsystem [n]: y
Is this a miscellaneous filsystem [n]:
KERBEROS code not added, did not reserve name with kerberos.
kerberos code not implimented, name not given back.
The username leannes is already in use.
Additionally, I can't seem to manually fully register this user, by
creating the filesys entry and modifying the user info from status 6
to status 1. If someone could look into this, we'd be grateful.
Please let me know if you need more information.
Mark
