When creating a printer this evening, I noticed printers of type
PRIVATE were getting an odd spool host. Here's an example:
Command: 7
Add New Printer to Database
name: foo
Printer entry for foo.
Type of Printer (? for help) [PRIVATE]:
Hardware Type (? for help) [HP]:
Duplex spool name []:
Printer hostname (or [none]) [foo]: [none]
Log host [WSLOGGER.MIT.EDU]:
Spool host (or [any]) [[ANY]]:
Remote printer name [foo]:
Quota server [[NONE]]:
Kerberos authenticated (y/n) [y]:
Price per page [10]:
Restrict list [[none]]:
LPC ACL [[none]]:
Banner page (y/n) [y]:
Location []:
Contact []:
Looking at the spool host afterwards, we have:
Command: 1
Get Printer Information
Name of Printer: foo
Printer: foo Duplex queue: [none]
Type: PRIVATE Hardware type: HP Hardware address:
Printer hostname: [NONE]
Printer log host: URANIA.MIT.EDU
Spool host: SQUIRM.MIT.EDU
Remote Printer Name: foo Banner page: Yes
Authentication: yes Price/page: 10 Quota Server: [NONE]
Restrict list: [none] LPC ACL: [none]

SQUIRM actually is a private print server, but new printers that
are created should be getting assigned to pp, io, and mulch by default.
