How about we just deal with the easy part first and just punt the "is
mailing list" bit on the thing if it's got both the mailing list and
group bits set. Isn't the procedure to mark a mailing list as only a
mailing list unless the requester specifies differently?
What happens now if you delete a list that owns stuff in AFS-land? Does
moira juat punt it and leave the AFS-protected files as orphans?
