I discovered tonight that nfs.sh running on Solaris servers
de-sparsifies the credentials.pag file.  The new nfs.sh runs `mkcred`
in a tmpfs filesystem, then uses `mv` to move the output files
(credentials.pag and credentials.dir) to their final resting place.
Unless this were done with something like GNU cp or GNU tar (instead
of mv), I think we have to choose between a slow mkcred and an
unsparse credentials.pag.
