machine query by location failing

I'm trying to use "(2) query" in the machine menu
and providing only a location when prompted.

Moira returns "No machine(s) found matching query
in database" when there are records existing with
that location info.

I'm using /usr/athena/bin/moira under Irix 5.3 .
