Accomplishments past periods:
-Requested ITAG review for March.
-Refined recommendations and continued work on the draft report.
-Conducted informal student survey.
-Analyzed student survey responses.
-Identified additional costs in current student billing process.
Goals for the coming period:
-Attend ITAG review with inifiNET technical personnel.
-Outline implementation plan based on the infiNET projection.
-Complete recommendations and finalize report.
-Present final report to sponsors.
-End Discovery phase of the project.
Next community milestone:
None.
Issues:
infiNET has a 90 day lead time and will not begin any work until a
contract has been executed. This means that there not enough time
for a July 2003 implementation.
Key learnings:
Discussions with other schools at a recent meeting has verified the
growing adoption of the infiNET solution in Higher Education. No
school reported objections to the new process by parents or students.
Team dynamics:
There is a real desire to get this work completed. The focus for the
next two weeks is to complete the work and present the report.
