Accomplishments for the past period:
- began the 1-on-1 data gathering interviews
- developed a draft accountabilities matrix for the project
- completed planning for Advisory Group meeting (scheduled for 3/1)
- performed significant updates to our Project Notebook
- developed draft plan for focus group efforts
- updated the WBS & timeline
- Greg drafted call-for-volunteers note for technical design members
- performed a final review of known centralized print information
Goals for the coming period:
- hold joint meeting with Advisory Group on 3/1
- clarify project accountabilities with our Advisory Group & Sponsor
- send call-for-volunteers note to targeted staff for the technical
design efforts
- continue data gathering interviews
- finalize focus group plans
- continue developing a stronger communications plan
- begin focus group meetings
Issues:
- still some concern with the availability of technical design &
business modeling resources
Key learnings:
Feels good to be getting to the "real work" - data gathering!
Team dynamics:
Couldn't be better, and Lynne's back from vacation with the kiddies.
Additional comments:
Food is a good thing at team meetings. We reached consensus that
butter is better than margarine very quickly!
