Accomplishments of the past period:
*Met with Scott Thorne to talk about how the data warehouse might help
in the advising process.
*Continued to gather examples of best practices in advising,
*Gave a presentation of WebSIS, the Data Warehouse and best practices
for stakeholders and departmental administrators.
*Completed faculty interviews.
*Completed a prioritized wish list for undergraduat eadministrators.
*Distributed stakeholders wish list to stakeholders to prioritize.
*Completed a faculty wish list.
*Completed a student wish list.
*Scheduled a stakeholders meeting for April 18 to review preliminary
findings and recommednations.
*Drafted a recommendation for Deliverable #2: Information Delivery
Goals for the coming period:
*Continue to work on the recommendation for Deliverable #2:
Information Delivery
*Distribute faculty wish list to faculty to prioritize.
*Distribute student wish list to students to prioritize.
*Merge prioritized wishlists.
*Begin drafting final recommendations.
Team Dyanmics:
The team continues to work well together. Each individual is making a
unique contribution.
Issues:
It has been difficult to keep the stakeholders focused and on track. I have
had few responses to my email asking them
to prioritize the wish list.
