Accomplishments of the past period:
Cecilia Talamantes and I met with Karen Nilsson and Carl Seagren to
investigate MIT Housing adding charges to student room and board bills for
missing or damaged set top boxes. Karen suggested that if they are able to
do this, there will be no requirement for the vendor to charge a security
deposit during enrollment.
I met with Cecilia later that afternoon to go over the business plan. We
both decided that the project was close to completion.
Cecilia and I met with Lee Ridgway to discuss items that will go into the
final report. Lee is working on the report.
Dennis Baron (our sponsor) agrees that the Discovery portion of this
project is essentially complete.
Goals for next period:
We are awaiting a draft of the final report.
A "wrap up" meeting has been proposed for 2pm on 3/30.
