Accomplishments past period:
- Our installation of the IMP web mail product is complete. It is up and
running and functioning fairly smoothly.
- Limited testing began last week with full testing scheduled to begin
on Monday, 3/19.
Goals for the coming period:
- Complete installation of the Silky Mail web mail product and begin
testing this product as well.
Issues:
- There has been a delay in setting up the server which will host the
Silky Mail web mail product. We expect progress on this very shortly.
Key learnings:
- Rigorous follow-up is essential to moving things along -- especially
when delays are encountered.
- One must know how much to push and when to give in a little in the
interest of getting things accomplished. It can be an intricate dance,
the results of which can have significant impact on project success.
Team dynamics:
- The team seems excited to actually get their hands on the web mail
products and begin testing.
Additional comments:
- None.
