Message-ID: <3A5A0690.E0D225DF@mit.edu> Date: Mon, 08 Jan 2001 13:27:28 -0500 From: Greg Anderson <ganderso@MIT.EDU> MIME-Version: 1.0 To: magellan@mit.edu, delivery@mit.edu, integration-ptl@mit.edu Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Good afternoon, Susan, Bob, and I met this morning, and one agenda item was to discuss the next Disc/Del/Int Project Leaders meeting proposed for Jan. 19. In our conversation, we identified a number of disparate items, but we wanted to solicit your input to determine if we should meet or not. Below are the agenda items we identified; some are of informational value and could be communicated via email. The topic may be of greater interest to you for discussion, but we would like your reaction before we proceed with the scheduling. So, take a look at this list of topics; let me know if you feel a meeting would be valuable for these discussions, and/or if you have other topics that would be relevant to this meeting of project leaders. I'll take your responses and try to make a 'go' / 'no-go' decision before the end of the week. If we decide to punt, we'll try to get the information updates out, and we have a more firm agenda building for February (proposed for Friday, Feb. 16) Thanks for your input and ideas. Greg --------------- Topic: Team formation discussion: what happens as projects move from planning to action? What is important to team leaders in forming project teams, identifying roles, skills, and availability? What has worked and what hasn't worked for you in team formation? After a project team is up and running, how do you sustain the work and dynamics of the team? Finally, what is the 'end-game' for teams as projects near completion? Update items: 1. Sponsor Survey - preliminary results from the Delivery Process 2. Usability testing and its role in projects 3. Customer Satisfaction Survey 4. Software Capitalization
