Good morning everyone,
A reminder that Magellan will meet tomorrow (Thurs. July 6) from 12
- 1 in N42-202.
Agenda:
1. Dan Fitzgerald, Project clinic on HR-Payroll. I encourage everyone to
attend for this debriefing. This is a very large, enterprise-wide project,
with a rich set of issues and learnings.
2. Other agenda items from your reports.
A reminder: we are beginning to get back into a Quarterly report mode;
it's my responsibility to pull that report together. To do so, however, I
will need consistent reporting from each of you regarding your proejcts -
so keep those bi-weekly reports coming.
For projects that have ended or are about to end, I would be grateful for
your estimates regarding:
1. calendar time elapsed - when the project was launched and when it
ended; e.g. began April 10 ended June 30
2. staff effort estimates in man months - an _estimate_ of the level of
effort required by the project; e.g. project team invested 8 man months in
the project (assuming a 40 hour work week).
3. Sponsor satisfaction; I will work with you as team leaders to get a
qualitative evaluation of the project from the project sponsor.
