Good morning everyone,

The HR-Payroll Discovery team is pleased to announce the availability of
its report at: http://web.mit.edu/is/discovery/hrpay/shortrep.html#short.

We would like to thank everyone for your contributions, participation, and
perspectives. The report summarizes the business case for change, the key
findings of the project, and recommendations for next steps. The report has
been submitted and accepted by the Sponsors, Marianne Howard and Jim
Morgan. Dan Fitzgerald, HR-Payroll Project Leader, is now launching the
Delivery phase of the project.

The completion of the Discovery project represents a key milestone; the
decisions to move forward are the blueprint that will guide the
implementation and operation of a new environment for Human Resource and
Payroll services at MIT. This report is also a beginning point. We now
have a better understanding and awareness of the intensive and wide-ranging
implementation work ahead. Clearly, there is much work to be accomplished,
and your continued participation and interest will be keys to success.

Again, we thank you for your work in bringing the project to this stage,
and, with your continued involvement, we look forward to implementation of
a new HR-Payroll environment for MIT.

Dan Fitzgerald, HR-Payroll Project Leader
Greg Anderson, Discovery Process Director
