Accomplishments past period:
- Met with ASPCC - received agreement on the Business Case, reviewed the
projected timeline for HR-Payroll.
- Dan met with Sponsors
- Completed group walk through report material
- Continued work on project planning for implementation
- Continued to gather names for department participation in the project
Goals for the coming period:
- Complete report
- Meet with Margaret-Ann Gray to continue work on change plan
- Continue to work on project plan
- Move forward on next steps
Issues:
- This discovery report will have multiple audiences and multiple purposes.
We are working on different ways to package our large volume of information
for the intended audiences: Sponsors, ASPCC, MIT community, Discovery team,
stakeholder units (HR & Payroll), the implementation team, etc.
Key learnings
- Keeping the larger goals in mind as we compile the reports is critical.
- Getting through the transition from recommending what we want to do to
actually getting that work underway is difficult.
Team dynamics:
- Team's last group meeting was to complete the editing/review process.
