Accomplishments past period:
- Dan met with project sponsors for update and to reach agreement on final
steps for Discovery.
- Began to draft the outline for the Discovery team report
- Met with Janet Snover to pick up conversation about the HR-Payroll
communications plan
- Re-scheduled updates to Asst. Deans and to AAC
- Began to draft the case statement for HR-Payroll
Goals for the coming period:
- Continue to work toward the elements of the final report
- Prepare for meetings with Asst. Deans and AAC (Jan. 27 & Feb. 9)
- Continue to work on a consolidated calendar for SAP HR-Payroll with FSS.
- Continue work to define requirements for appointment process
- Continue to define requirements for student payroll
- Continue work on the case statement
Issues:
- Beginning to work through existing team material to construct the final
report.
Key learnings
- ASPCC involvement and interest is very productive and provides a broader
set of perspectives to combine with the work of the team.
- Keeping all of the components of the work in synch is intensive.
- Managing the change issues and the perspectives of central and
decentralized stakeholders will be critical to success.
Team dynamics:
- Because of the holidays, there were no team meetings during this
reporting period.
