Project Name: Enterprise Printing
Project Leader: Dave Lambert
Report Date: 05/20/1999
Project Notebook: http://web.mit.edu/is/discovery/enter-print/

Accomplishments for the past period:
- held sponsor check-in to get approval on adding 'technology overview'
  to the discovery project
- sent response to ITLT and received informal positive feedback
- met with Jim Morgan instead of full CAO planned focus group; updated
him on new charter and confirmed we interviewed appropriate CAO staff
- made initial adjustments to charter, scope, technical design
  and business modeling documents
- developed outline for the business analysis report
- more WBS and timeline adjustments
- checked in and prepped consultant for potential near term 'technology
  overview' work

Goals for the coming period:
- hold follow-up discussions to confirm Postscript pilot hardware with
  Emmons & Huxley
- nail down dates for the next round of focus groups
- begin writing the business analysis report
- finalize plans for the discovery vs delivery project phases
- hopefully hold Service & Support focus group meetings
- finish charter/scope changes; create new 'charter' for delivery phase
which will now include reworked business modeling & technical
  design efforts

Issues:
We'll be trying to define the delivery phase work now that the work
 has been restructured.

Key learnings:
As the end gets closer the work feels more real.

Team dynamics:
The team is very tight but we still need to respect each others'
personal space - really cramps those team hugs! :-)

Additional comments:
 nope
