Accomplishments past period
- Created Draft of a short Discovery report summarizing progress, and
decision made over the course of the project (since May, 1998)
- Reviewed Draft report with primary business owner, and modified report
in accord with his wishes
- Updated project-db
Goals for the coming period
- Obtain approval from project sponsor to conclude Discovery phase,
and to move into Delivery phase
- Present Discovery findings to SAP-IT
- Submit Discovery findings to mr-implement as fulfilment of 1/14 reporting
assignment.
Issues
- None
Key learnings
- Over the six+ months of the effort, there have been many, but recently,
a key one for me is the difficulty of "small" low-priority,
part-time, ill-defined, projects in an intense operational sphere,
like the SAP world here, particularly if you're an "outsider" to
that sphere.
Team dynamics:
- A team never really formed, so there's nothing to say here.
