Ah, athdir explicitly doesn't look in /mit/locker/bin unless you
invoke it with "athdir -e -t bin -p /mit/locker"; I forgot about
that.  On the other hand, of the thirty-odd lockers I normally attach,
this only makes a difference for the rfc locker.  Still, given that
this script is likely to be copied all over the place, it may be wise
to use athdir so that any future convention changes don't cause as
many problems.
