I have cns-96q1 compiled under AIX 4.1.4, and everything works great,
except when I try to use the kerberized telnetd. Here's what happens:
Trying xxx.yyy.zzz.www...
Connected to foo.
Escape character is '^]'.
[ Trying KERBEROS4 ... ]
[ Kerberos V4 accepts you ]
[ Kerberos V4 challenge successful ]
Password:
Anything I type at the Password: prompt causes a "Login incorrect" &
then "Connection closed by foreign host." If I connect without a
ticket, it asks for a name and password and still barfs "Login
incorrect," even though my /etc/inetd.conf entry is only telnetd, not
telnetd -a valid. Has anyone encountered problems like this? Thanks for
your help,
Benjamin Holzman
