I fought a similar problem yesterday trying to get FTP working. I kept
getting "context has expired" errors. I found all my tickets had a zero
lifetime, both TGT and normal.
I used kadmin.local to set a maxlife on all the principals:
kadmin.local
modprinc -maxlife "10 hours" principal
I was then able to get FTP running.
I built with the completely standard configuration, not changing
anything. Where is the default for maxlife coming from when you create
principals?
I didn't notice anything in the docs about having to set a maxlife. I
just created principals the same way I did on beta5 and beta6.
