I'm posting this again in its own article, since it's really a new question
(was appended to a previous question about libcom_err.a on solaris).

I built kerberos beta 7 on a solaris 2.5.1 system, but 'make check' reports
that the system doesn't return a fully qualified domain name. For example,
instead of getting bob.ind.net, it gets bob. I know this has been asked
before, but I can't find the response. Could someone let me know what I need
to change to get the FQDN, or direct me to it in the documentation?

PPPPppppllllleeeeeeaaaaassssssseeeeee?

Comments? Suggestions?

Again, any help is greatly appreciated!

Sincerely,
Trever Furnish,
